It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Adams Gronda, 83, a 17-year Pahrump, NV resident. She passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022 from complications while recovering from both pneumonia and surgery to repair her broken femur.
Born November 1, 1938 in Birmingham, AL, she spent the majority of her life in California, before retiring to Pahrump from her care-giving position with Catholic Charities.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marion Brannon, brother George, and husbands Thomas Crossman and Garland Adams. She is survived by her husband Charles Gronda, four children Susan (Crossman) Adams, Lisa (Crossman Adams) Collins, Marty (Crossman) Adams, Brian Adams, step daughter Charlene Olson, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was beloved by all for her loyal, loving, and joyful personality. Also a deeply spiritual woman, she was a former Minister and Practitioner of Religious Science. She then fell in love with Christ while an active member at the Pahrump community Church and Woman of Prayer. Her favorite pastime was traveling with her husband to exciting new locations and to see family and friends. While at home, she loved spending time with her widow's group, in addition to gardening, cooking, laughter, and games.
Her celebration of life will be held at 11 am, February 12, 2022, at the Pahrump Community Church, 1061 E. Wilson Rd. Pahrump, NV 89048.
