Survived by his loving wife, children, other family members and all who knew him. Served Honorably in the United States Navy.

Earl M Bennett was born the 3rd of December, 1939, in Topeka Kansas, the son of Earl and Dorthy Bennett. After high school, Earl joined the US Navy. He met a friend in boot camp and their friendship would last a lifetime. His friend, Jerry Bunker became his brother in-law, as he married his sister, Janet Bunker-Bennett who would be his wife for the next 62 years. Earl and Janet married on February 7th, 1959. They have 2 wonderful boys, Jerry (Valerie), Sean (Cheryl) and 12 grand children, 19 great grand children, a niece Trudy and 7 nephews, Aunt Mazie Bunker, Aunt Barbra Bunker, Aunt Chulita Moon-Jurkiewicz (George) Uncle Leonard Dunn plus numerous cousins.

Earl had a passion for the automobile, flying, was a master mechanic and engineer. Earl was a automotive instructor for several Community Colleges. Earl also loved to race cars not only on dirt and asphalt, but on ice. In the 70's Earl went on to win the North American Ice Racing Championship. From there, Earl went on to race a B production Corvette along west coast tracks. Earl and Janet have lived in California, Michigan, Alaska, Oregon and Nevada. Earl passed to his living God, on the 12 of May, 2021. He had diabetes and heart issues which took his life. Earl is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Janet. There will be no services as Earl chose to have his body cremated.
