Alfred Walter Thiel Jr., age 85, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Al was born in Weyauwega, Wisconsin on July 8, 1936, the son of the late Alfred Walter Thiel, Sr and Velma (Beckman) Thiel.
On June 9, 1962, Al was united in marriage to June Ann Tesch in Hortonville, Wisconsin. June preceded him in death on October 2, 2003. Al loved his family dearly and cherished spending time with them, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Al is survived by his children: Gloria (Tom) Briske, Marion, Wisconsin; John Thiel, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Paul Thiel, Pahrump, Nevada; Lorine (Brad) Raddant, Shawano, Wisconsin, and Nancy (Greg) Hemphill, Las Vegas, Nevada; 7 grandchildren: Tasha (Jon) Whitcomb, Derek (Jennifer) Briske, Jacob Thiel, Kyle (fiancé Emily) Raddant, Alec Raddant, Kierra (fiancé Andrew) Hemphill and Tianna Hemphill; and three great-grandchildren Jordan, Brynnly and Avery. He is also survived by his two sisters and brother; Ruth (Tom) Wegener, Norma (Larry) Tesch, and David (Sally) Thiel; his uncle Alvin Thiel, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding Al in death are his wife June and his parents.
