Austin "Ray" Altom passed away Jan. 31, 2018 in Pahrump. He was born July 6, 1930 in Pangburn, Ark. He had been a resident of Pahrump since 1995. Austin served honorably in the U.S. Army as Master Sergeant until retirement in 1990. He worked in the aerospace industry at Northrop as a supervisor of research and development, retiring in 1990. Since 1995, he was both a member and previous officer of the Elks Lodge in Pahrump, as well as a member of the Moose Lodge in Pahrump.

Austin is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann; brother, Coy Lynn Altom; nieces Sheila and Karen; many other nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Kathy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb 8 at 10:40 a.m. at SNVMC with military honors. Entrusted to the care of Lee Funeral Home.

Lee Ann is survived by her children, Ross Werner, & Andrea (Ben) Werner; parents, Jack & Joy Anderson; brother, Eric (Denna) An-derson; sister, Teresa (Jerry, Jr.) MIiiigan; One granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
